Record Detail: Mr. Basant Kumar Misra from Odisha has set a fresh World Record for the “First Indian neurosurgeon to get prestigious AANS award.” He received the ‘International Lifetime Achievement Award in Neurosurgery’ conferred by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). He is the visiting professor of around 14 medical schools and hospitals including Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. He is the recipient of the Dr. BC Roy National Award. We would like to wholeheartedly appreciate this jaw-breaking achievement of Mr. Basant Kumar Misra.
