RECORD HOLDER – VOLUNTEERS FROM UTTAR PRADESH
RECORD TITLE – PLANTING MAXIMUM TREES IN 24 HOURS
Record Detail: Volunteers from Uttar Pradesh have set a World Record for “Planting maximum trees in 24 hours.” The volunteers more than 800,000 people from Uttar Pradesh took part in planting trees around India’s northern states and in total planted 49.3 million tree saplings from 80 different tree species on July 21, 2016. We would like to wholeheartedly appreciate this jaw-breaking achievement of the people of Uttar Pradesh.
